What is the first thought that comes to mind when you hear, "snow, cars, and rain?" Three things that don't go together, except during the annual Chicago World of Wheels event!

Held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, from March 4th through 6th; the event was the 54th annual. It's the one time of year where the Chicago weather may have you down, due to cold temperatures and precipitation, but you're still able to feel a sample of summer with hundreds of cars on display.

This event is more than a big car show. Special attractions include celebrity appearances, such as Catherine Bach and Tom Wopat of "The Dukes of Hazzard," the Tuner Galleria, and the Chicago Brushmaster Pinstripers Charity Auction. The magnificent part about this event is that all of the attractions are included in the admission price!

James Alleruzzo hosts the production that takes a look at various cars from throughout the decades. From a south side residents' '55 Chevy Gasser, to returning Mikie Breiner Racing, to a Dukes of Hazzard reunion car display; this show is packed with action! In addition, Rockabilly music can be heard on the entertainment stage while wandering the venue on Saturday night.

ACV has been covering various car activities for years. Examples of past events include Oak Park Avenue Tuesday Cruise, Palos Heights annual car event, and the Oak Fest annual car show. The World of Wheels is an honor that ACV looks forward to covering for years to come.
